AbbeyJ, sorry hun, I checked in in a different thread, read that one first
I’m in but only just, had a few “incidents” with the awful traffic then on the motorway I almost fell asleep! Started hallucinating from High Wycombe, its habit checking cars out for all the “unmarked police” signs but then it took me ages to focus back in the road ahead, I even thought at one point that a lorry was coming towards me in lane 3 on a sweeping bend!!! Think I’m all biked out, just checked and since sunday I have spent £58 on petrol for the bike!!! Thats a few miles, think I’m all biked out for this week.
Straight from Cubana and in to work…safe and sound !!

Ermmm reporting in
Bleeding M4 was closed from the the Chiswick roundabout so had to go all the way round via Gillette corner while showing Dan and Jo the way back…
Talk about “The Long Way Round” .
I’m parked at my desk. Nice to see some new faces last night.
I won’t be at Cubana for the next two weeks But think of me in bonnie Scootland, aye Jimmy!)
Well despite the puncture and having to leave early I enjoyed my all to brief visit, my general apologies to thoughs to thoughs I’ve met before as I didn’t have time to “do the rounds”.
Interesting bit, when I left, the tyre although fixed was a bit soft so I was taking it easy looking for a garage, guy on one of those elastic band 650 BMW singles obviously thought he was a bit of a hero keeping up with a speedtriple, we stopped at a set of lights and done the old “nice bike mate” thing, didn’t have the heart to tell him I’d only got 11psi in the rear tyre, let him have his " I tor up a Triumph on the way home" store, after all it ain’t going to happen to often
put some air in it and all was fine, got down to Riverhead without any problem, and back home for half twelve.
see you next week.
Cheers Mark.
another fun night - great to meet some new faces & catch up with the ‘hardcore’!
Weaver - appreciate the special effort to cross the wild jungle of inner London to some visit us at Cubana! see you at the next rideout
