Stuck my lid on this morning and was about 2 minutes into my commute to work when I had what can only be descibed as as ‘itch’ on the top of my head. I ignored it and carried on, only for the ‘itch’ to move down and round to the side of my head – WTF ??
I pulled over and took my lid off and was greeted with the charming sight of an earwig running about inside – not the best way to start the day FFS!
Should have put the lid in its bag last night but I left it on the hallway floor when I got in cos it was soaking wet. I will check inside in future…
i had one of them crawling up me leg inside me leathers and it had bitten me a few times but its not as painful as a wasp!
and had a few of them in me lid over the years hence the name!
