Kind-hearted bikers (that’s you folks) are being asked to help their four-legged friends this summer with the annual pet food run on Sunday 19 July.
After the excellent response to my plea at Easter to help needy children with this year’s Easter egg Run – when more people joined in and more eggs were collected than last year – I’m urging my fellow riders to help out animals too.
Food, bedding including newspaper and blankets are the items that are needed.
We leave from
The Kings Oak pub in High Beach, Epping, Essex, IG10 4AE at 1pm.
Joining up with the group at
Stratstone Harley Davidson in Loxham Road, London, E4 8SE.
about 1:30pm
Then on to the
Animal Ark Veterinary Centre in Goodmayes Lane, Ilford.
A Free BBQ and refreshments will be provided for everyone.
You may have read in the papers how the RSPCA and all other animal charities have been buried under a mountain of animals handed in or abandoned because of the credit crunch so these charities need our help even more now.
At Easter YOU made it the best in years, so I’m hoping you can do it again.
