Tuesday lunchtime In Croydon I saw this kid with a butchers hook threatening this other dude. I squared up to him and basically did a wild Mel Gibson on him - thankfully it worked but I could have been another statistic. Next time iâll walk on by like everyone else - even though thats exactly whats wrong witht his country.
The moral of the story is that the guy I saved turned out to be a shoplifter - but either way - you dont walk around the streets wielding a butchers hook threatening people. I cant stand bullies.
Me thinks its time to move on.
one day we will be allowed to do our job and deal with these lil pieces of absolute sht! They are a complete waste of space and breath and should be put down like the feral dogs they are.
my thoughts with those two fellow officers
+1.
âŚone day.
Fugging scum
v. pished off to read this story.
CS gas, and banton. I feel a can of woop arse being opened by the local station.
Can we all come down for a play? I have a hefty 1/2" torque wrench I can bring to the party.
Were is the respect these days?

Reminds of something that happened the other week.
Two lanes of traffic at a red light, and I was at the front of the left lane. A bunch of schoolkids were crossing right to left. This girl takes a sip of her can of pepsi andd then just throws it infront of her on the crossing, in the middle of the road. The can still ahd a least half of the drink left in it. There was a bin right there if she finished carrying it across.
I beeped my horn and pointed at the can and she just gave me a nonchalent look as if she could see right through me. her horrid little mates just went âohhhhhhhhhâ at her because someone had challenged her, but she just kept walking. I beeped again for longer and the kids just stopped and stared at me.
I wish I could just get off the bike without fear of being stabbed and ram the can into that nasty little girlâs head.
If I was invisible for the day, I wouldnât go spying on friends or naked people, I would enjoy myself running around happy slapping horrible teenagers
shocking! This world continues to bewilder me??? Hope the two offices recover quickly and are able to press charges with these scum bags
Bit of a shocker this.
Makes me despair and want to just screw off abroad again. I still have permanent residency status for Finland. Donât know which is worse now, sticking around this senseless voilence at home or a mindnummingly dull life on the Baltic.
One day that will be me taking a beating.
I hate people who chuck their **** on the floor. I once picked up a banana skin that a black cab driver has thrown out of his window and without really thinking I threw it straight back in and it hit him in the face. He was really cross and stopped his cab, luckily a few other people had seen what happened and told him it was his own fault, a big argument started but a copper started walking towards us and he thought twice about continuing.
Doesnât surprise me one bit.
I was driving through Croydon last Sunday night and there was a
group of 80+ teenagers mostly 12-15 years old running back and forth on London Road.
Police car was parked the other side keeping watch until what i used to call a TSG van pulled them up.
Amazes me how many kids are in these gangs.
Saftey in numbers and donât they know it.
This is absolutely awful and underlines what cess-pools places like parts of Croydon have become.
I used to live there 20 years ago and although it wasnât wonderful, it was close to paradise compared to what it is now.
I was listening to Radio London with Anne Dimond when the officer involved rang up and said what happened, i couldn`t believe what i heard, the girl should be locked up for that.
Barbaric, disgusting behaviour towards the Police. I sympathise with the urge to beat the sht out of these cowardly arsoles who think that they can behave like this on our streets.
I also would like to know why this country has got so aggressive over the past decade or so - When I was a kid disputes which might have ended with punches being thrown now end up with someone lying in the morgue.
Some say it is cyclical - if you look at London history there have been periods like this before - at the turn of the eighteenth century some of the streets of London were dangerous and classed as âno go areasâ - then things improved etc.
There is an abiding atmosphere of fear and loathing in the country at the moment - itâs part of the reason these kids (and 38 year olds looking at the arrests) band together in gangs in the first place - separate them from the group and they are just frightened, ignorant little twerps.
I read this article in a different London newspaperâŚThe Times maybe?
A police official said âthis was a mob mentality, not that we would use the world âmobâ as it is inflammatoryâŚâ
What kind of absolute moral cowardice is this?! How in the hell do you plan to re-exert control over your own streets if you lack the testicular fortitude to call a ******* mob a MOB?!
I seriously question the European point of view sometimesâŚI mean, itâs gone WWWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYY off the deep end if you canât immediately and effectively crack down on scum like this without worrying about calling a âmobâ a âmob.â
RidiculousâŚ
A work colleague is a special constable and was called at work about this, she was asked to work on Saturday in Croydon - She is a local resident and might know some of the scum bags, she was fuming. I hope the parents of these kids are brought to book for the behaviour of their wayward and feral children and the school should be embarrassed at being represented in the community by such a classy and intelligent bunch of brats.
I understand that the whole event was filmed on someones mobile, so with that evidence it shouldnt be too hard to find out who they were.
unfortunately that will never happen! The parents dont care which is half the reason why these kids are like this, besides the fact they know they can get away with it
I read in the paper this saturday that the girl who bit the police was arrested on suspicion of assault and later bailed. When the parents arrived at the police station they apparently complained that the start of her summer holiday had been disrupted !!! Unbelievable!!
A couple of weeks ago I was meeting some mates for a drink in Brixton and a gang of teenagers pushed in at the queue to the cash machine. The lady they pushed in front of told them there was a queue. They then started getting abusive, swearing and shouting at her, so I said. âThe lady asked you politely to wait in the queue, so why canât you just do as she says?â
They then started saying things to me like: âdonât speak to me like thatâ and they called me a âF*****g bitchâ and started getting abusive to me. I then said âYou lot need to learn manners. If Iâd talked to an adult like that when I was your age, my mother would have given me a clip round the ear.â After a bit more of this, I was aware that a crowd had gathered to watch. So me and the other lady thought we had better leg it as things were getting a bit out of hand and a member of the public was actually restraining one of the group. As we crossed the street in a hurry, the lady turned to me and said âthanks for standing up for me.â
I know a lot of kids grow up with no parents / abusive parents or have a terrible home life. However, the adults in their lives do need to take some responsibility towards teaching them the difference between right and wrong and not blame the police for (in the Croydon case) âdisrupting her summer holiday.â When I was a teenager I used to hang out with a group of punks and we got into fights with the local skinheads etc, so I wasnât perfect, but I always knew my mum would give me a right bollocking when I got into trouble, so I had boundaries.
I think boundaries is what a lot of the kids lack - and itâs actually what they want. In the short term they can get kudos, acceptance and value in a gang, but they should really be getting that, and their boundaries, from their family or from the adult(s) responsible for bringing them up.
