Can anyone recommend a decent solicitor (an oxymoron I know!) for a probate issue?

That doesn’t charge silly central london prices - happy to travel a bit for a sensible hourly rate.

I know a lot of solicitors but none that do that I’m afraid

I don’t think they were cheap but this lot http://gdlaw.co.uk/ did a fixed price when I used them last year. They were very helpful and considerate.

Excellent - thank so much Gavin, like the idea of fixed price, it’s £85 for a letter on something they have already told you that irks me!

I can offer you advice on any issues you have. You will still need Solicitors to perform any tasks, but knowing what it is that will need to be done might help you keep things to a price.
