so here are some photos to share of our so called Noobie Ride. it happens every month and it’s a way for new members to meet other new and old members. we did this all year long as California weather permits it :slight_smile:
the largest group we had on this Ride was i think about a 100 bikes. it’s a 40-50 mile ride in a slow pace :slight_smile: can’t expect much with 70 bikes behind you :slight_smile: it was fun at the beginning when i first joined but after 3x of going, it got boring because you can’t go faster than…40mph :slight_smile: the cagers didn’t like us very much :slight_smile:

do we have something like this here or? just curious…:slight_smile:

Looks like a lot of fun, although yeah I can understand why you’d get bored at that speed, unless that was a typo and you meant 140mph?!? :smiley:

Yeah but DOOOOOOD! 40 mph, that isn’t even their speed limit, let alone ours!

Christ, that’s FIRST gear on all those bikes, so unless your lead rider is a C90 that needs to use at least 2nd to hit 40, then that’s a bit of a waste of all those Japanese engineering nerds’ time and effort really…

Interesting concept of a ‘group ride’. Being an islander, the first thing that crops up in mind is…why don’t y’all just take a bus? :w00t:

this was in Orange County. do you know the show OC? :wink: we started in Irvine and our final destination was Laguna Beach and went through the canyons. the total ride time was 2 hours. yeah it’s freaking looong if you ask me :wink: first couple of times was fun but after that…it’s soo boring! :smiley:

yeap Orange County has LOTS AND LOTS OF space! we have 5 lanes freeway each direction :slight_smile: and they are meant for big SUVs…supersize SUVS and pick-up trucks!!
