As someone who has had family go through organ transplants, it is quite harrowing…
I’d be quite happy for organ donation to be the default position and let people opt out if they have some kind of objection to saving other people’s lives with absolutely no effect on themselves. It does mean you’ll be at a disadvantage if you become a zombie I suppose.
Back (sort of) on topic, the DVLA and Wandsworth council managed an impressive synchronicity on this - my paper tax disc went electronic the same week that my electronic parking permit became paper so I just switched over the discs in the holder of the car.
