does anyone know of any insurance companys that will cover a motorcycle for only a month?
Ebike do a pay as you go monthly insurnace
http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/
ive never used it and dont know what the covers like but worth a look
Not really hun, but you could move your insurance for your bike to a different bike and then back again, there are normally no fees you just pay the difference if the bike is worth a bit bit more etc.

Ebike pay as you go as has already been suggested, it’s worth it for things like this Stacey, if you continue doing pay as you go for 8months or more you also get 1 yrs no claims.
I’ve got that on the Bandit atm as we know the end of the month someone else will be riding it
Thanks but does anyone know if any other companies?
Not many do short term…I1ve used Ebike several times and they seem Ok to me - never had to claim but not heard anything bad about them either:) Is there a reason for you not wanting to use them?
only prob with this is that the hornet wont be insured at all then
stace, i dunno y ebike told you they dont do it, its on their website, the numpties!
Most insurance companies include a set up fee to start the insurance going, the a cancelation fee if you close the deal down.
The trick I’ve used in the past is to take a 1 year insurance, then suspend that (note “suspend”) and swap that to the next bike. No charge for the change, just seen as a change of bike.
Used the balance to mostly buy the next years on my bike a few months later.
Downside. I did pay a years premium up front. Upside. I did get to ride a friends very nice bike, fully insured, for a few weeks while he was away.
Don’t know why you want just a months insurance, but the above may be of help.
Only eBike, they are pretty good. Or as Oldguy suggests, take out a 1 year policy on monthly payments.
