I’m getting the keys to my new house next month and there are lots of jobs that will need doing. The house is a 1930’s Victorian in Barkingside.
If any of you have ever used or know of any reliable builders who are capable of all, or some of the jobs below, please let me know.
Removal of load bearing wall 2.8 metres in length - ideally no nibs at either side - neither wall is shared with neighbour. One electrical socket on this wall.Removal of Artex from ceilings and hallways.Plastering once the wall has been removed.Removal of rear garden Door and installation of 1x New double glazed window in its place - this will require some brickwork.Pointing for some of the brick work.Boiler will need to be moved from 1st floor to ground floor.
Other possible work
Installation of new kitchenRoof tiles and guttering need to be cleaned - may need scaffolding, I’m unsure.
