Hi All,

I know a few of the guys are meeting at Dunstable Downs and riding on to Brands but I’m one the lucky few living 20 mins from the Dartford crossing and I know a number of others are even closer.

If anyone wants to hook up for a ride down from the East London/ Essex areas (anyone else welcome of course) and you guys coming from Dunstable can meet us here too - what say we meet at the Hilton Dartford Brdige Car Park, 2 minutes off the M25 just the other side of the Dartford Crossing at 8am.

Details are attached, Essex heading Kent bound: stay left and hook off the first junction after the tolls as if coming back on yourself first R’about straight over and Hilton is on right - go round second r’about and retrace steps, entrance on now on left half way back up road:

I will be going. Hopefully will have bike back from service and repair. If not, might be on a courtesy bike (hope it’s something good). Will have pillion.

May end up in the cage. Fingers crossed I get my bike back.

Me and Sam (Purplepower) are gonna be camping for the weekend, looking to travel down early friday afternoon I’d guess. Having never camped at Brands before, any hints or tips about the locality and facilities at brands would be appreciated. Also, if anyone else is staying over, or just fancies meeting up, drop us a PM and well give you a mobile number.

If anyone wants to meet up in Dunstable Downs, or along the way, we’ll be leaving at 8am on Sunday. We plan to avoid the M25, and go by A roads.

Does anyone know if there is a pub or supermarket etc nearby? We’re gonna need lots of beer if we’re there all weekend. I only like Nick when i’m drunk!

Not sure about supermarkets but if you head back from Brands towards M25 - you come down a hill to first roundabout and I think it was the first turning takes you towards Farningham. Follow this for a few hundred yards and there is a nice pub on the left called the Lion. Carpark entrance is just before it - if on bikes follow through carpark to back of pub and you can generally park at the side by the seated area. Nice food and of course lots of drink!!
