Brown Sauce? Salad "Cream"?

Your forgetting Daddies Brown Sauce! Tha confirms it…you always were Daddy’s girl eh Lou …

Greg, PM us an addy and we’ll send you a rescue package of traditional British condiments that’ll scare the hell out of the Customs guy who see’s it on the X-Ray machine…plus some of our top snacks to share with your fellow Wichitans!

Done…

Be sure to send a few “recipes” too…you know, what I should be putting all of these sauces and creams on.

Turns out KS Gremgman is an adventurous sort after all.

First a Harley Davidson, now he’s sent me his address.

Tonight I’m going to hunt down the nearest whetherspoon’s sachet selection and send him over some of Britain’s finest sugary vinegar sauces.

However, if anyone has any other interesting culinary suggestions we could send the Gregman to try out from the UK, home of worldy famous…er…cooking…then drop me a line and we’ll cook him up a rescue package… A mini box of tea bags for example…a Crunchie bar… what do you reckon would tickle our favourite Septic’s taste buds from the home of DELIA SMITH?

Suggestions please!

Off the top of my head:-

Hob Nobs
Marmite
Branston pickle
Small tin of mushy peas

Anything too heavy I can take personally, when we visit! :satisfied:

Or “Merkin” … :stuck_out_tongue:

deep fried mars bar!

mushy peas

peas pudding

It’s a Suzuki, damnit!!!

Why would I want a bike that only converts gasoline to noise without the fringe benefit of making any power? :PAnd uh…I’m going to be afraid to go to the mail box now…probably have the Customs office knocking my door down too.Yikes…

I used to have a reciprical agreement with a mate in New Jersey

I’d send him Jaffa Cakes and Cadbury’s Whole Nut and he’d send me Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups and Oreos:D

It stopped when they became available over here:hehe:

I think it is terrible that people drown lovely food with cheap tasting nasty sauces

My daughters boyfriend covers a beautiful roast dinner & gravy with lashings of tomato ketchup - how hideous is that :pinch:

i hate people when COVER THERE FOOD IN CRAP!, I PERSONALLY AM PLAIN, I DO NOT LIKE SAUCES OR DRESSINGS, YUK!!

Look again;)

You’ve got more sauce than anybody else I know  :stuck_out_tongue:

You will be lucky to find Daddies Brown in the shops now… If you do see it, buy it and stick it on Ebay;)

Greg…I am amazed that you don’t know what salad cream is as I heard that you guys put Miracle Whip on everything that moves.

Nando’s sauce is the best! Not many people seem to know that Nando’s is a South African Restaurant. (I’ve won a few bets about that…hee…hee…)

Also try the legendary '“Mrs Balls Fruit Chutney” you can put it on anything (within reason:D)! It comes in a couple of different recipes, but I have only managed to find the original recipe Chutney at Sainsbury’s. Great with curries, with cheese on bread and sausages on a roll.P.S. (Cross & Blackwell - Tangy Mayonaisse is the best!!)

Bugger Me!!!I always thought Nando’s was Portuguese:w00t:

Nando’s has spread all over the world but it has humble beginnings…

In 1987 two great friends, Robert and Fernando, visited a famous little eatery called Chickenland, in Rosettenville, a humble suburb south of Jo’burg. It was there that their lives and the lives of millions changed forever. Until this time peri-peri flame-grilled chicken was the best kept secret among the Portuguese community who had come to Johannesburg from Moçambique. After tasting the unique Portuguese flame-grilled peri-peri chicken, the friends knew that all South Africans had to experience it. The friends had a calling to spread the flames. They knew that South Africans were hungry for life and that they had an appetite for adventure. Getting them to try something new would not be difficult. They made the owner of Chickenland an offer he couldn’t refuse, left their office jobs and in one fowl swoop the partners and friends, started the first fire of Nando’s (short for Fernando’s). They set out immediately to introduce their beloved peri-peri chicken to all of South Africa. As the people’s love of Nando’s chicken grew, so too did the flames of the Nando’s brand as they spread to all corners of South Africa. Today, there are over 180 restaurants around our vibrant country all serving Nando’s peri-peri flame-grilled chicken with their own individual passion. Although Nando’s has a strong Portuguese and Moçambiquan heritage, of which we are enormously proud, we are truly South African. No matter how far Nando’s travels around the globe we will never forget our humble beginnings in that little eatery called Chickenland.

Haven’t heard that in a long time, great days:cool:
