We have a thread for Game of Thrones, I think Breaking Bad deserves one too.
I wont give any spoilers until we have an idea of who’s up to where, but I’ve recently watched S05E08 and it’s left a right cliff hanger… 10 months until the final 8 episodes.
“Informed he has terminal cancer, an underachieving chemistry genius turned high school teacher uses his expertise to secretly provide for his family by producing the world’s highest quality crystal meth.”
Seasons 3 and 4 were some of the best TV I’ve seen I think. Amazing show.
I originally watched the first two episodes and didn’t carry on. They seemed a little ‘odd’, a little gruesome. After about a year, so many people talk about it being one of the best shows ever I figured I had to try again.
I recently watched the first two episodes again, before season 5 started, and now I loved them
It can be a little slow at times, but there is so much depth in the characters, it’s amazing. I recently read some blogs that go into huge detail about the characters (particularly Walt’s) psyche… amazing stuff.
Yeah, pretty much. The relationship between the two is very strange. You sometimes wonder is Walt see’s him like a son, other times they want to kill each other, but then many times they put their own lives on the line for each other when they really don’t need to.
Also for people who are fan of series, get a hold of Oz (now finished). Fecking brutal and great story…
I never got into Breaking bad… watched the first series, thought it was good but then never never got down to see the rest of it… too many other series going around and that took a place on the back for me.
But if we are talking all time TOP series, I would have to add Twin Peaks onto that… but then I am a David Lynch fan… .
I didn’t even bother with finishing the series following the one where his Mrs was killed by that Lithgow fella. It just seemed to suddenly get very formulaic and was unable to build any tension IMO. Watched the first few episodes and drifted away.
If you’re a fan of a bit of horror, this film is supposed to be free to watch according to the people who made it. Subscribers would buy frames, and when the frames were bought the film became free and as a fame owner you get a % on the other sales related to the movie, DVD copies, mugs T Shirts etc.
anyhow heres the film The Tunnel (2011) and where I found it
