Bored...

I was lucky enough to have a bit of an accident last week at work and buggered up my ankle pretty well. Not been able to walk much at all so I’ve been stuck at home for a solid week now and getting a bit bored of it. Had nothing to do but play on the 360 (which I bought the day before, what timing) but that gets boring when you’ve got no friends on there yet.
What makes it worse is I wanted to be doing my bike lessons last week, I’d already had to wait and now I’m getting rather impatient :frowning:

So two objectives here:

  1. For a rant and sympathy vote
  2. I need help to think of something to do that doesn’t require walking! Any ideas? :stuck_out_tongue:

go to one of the shopping centers that hire out mobility scooters, hire one for an afternoon and see how many hoodies you can ‘accidentally’ shunt with it, 50pts each

You can’t walk, but you could always w@nk ?!

I knew someone would have to suggest that :stuck_out_tongue:

I was tempted but thought better of it :stuck_out_tongue:

Gutted for you, I know how much you’ve been wanting to do your DAS! I wont rub it in too much then that Sunday was a complete blast, the weather was fab, breakfast at the Ace then a nice long run around the country lanes of Hertfordshire

Anyway, what about cross-stitch, that can be nice and doesn’t require walking around too much :hehe:

Makes me feel so much better, I really feel loved now :crying:

Ah dude, I luv ya, but I luv me SV650S more :stuck_out_tongue:

Well I suppose I’d be doing the same… doesn’t mean I forgive ya though :stuck_out_tongue:

Bring out your inner book. We`ve all got one inside us apparently.

Watch The Apprentice now, that will kill at least an hr! I love to watch this load of muppets squirm, its brilliant tv

20 mins late but I just put on The Apprentice. I don’t usually watch TV though, maybe an hour a week at most so no idea what this is really :stuck_out_tongue:

Better be good now!

And what’s an “inner book”? :S

Inner book:

Apparently everyone has the subject matter in their life/in their head to write a book. What better time to start writing yours than when you are injured and can not go out?

Did you cringe like I did, totally LOVE IT

The guy’s an expert at selling thongs  Loved everybody trying to keep a straight face.

Never watched it before but my little brother (8 years old) saw it months ago and went around with a really serious grumpy face, pointing at people and saying “You’re fired”. It was pretty funny actually

Uphill gardening? Just a thought:P

Is that an invitation? :Whistling:

Now I know I’m getting old.

A week off work, unable to do much, with a lending library, across the rosd and right, with a supermarket with a decent selection of real beer, across the road and left, sound perfect to me. Throw in a week of good weather and…ah.

I must get round to retiring soon. Then I can properly experience these delights.

Ermmm…No.

Star wars marathon, LOTR marathon, Alien marathon, terminator marathon…that should take up some time…

Actually, thinking about it, your a student aren’t you…shouldn’t it be a perfect opportunity concentrate and get on with some studying :stuck_out_tongue:
