Decent manufacturers produce dual use boots. Probably the best around at the price are BMW (yes, BMW) who produce the “Allround” boots and the “Santiago” boots.
My son and I can both vouch for the Allround. Both our pairs are about 6 or 7 years old and with just some pretty sloppy care a couple of times a year are still waterproof and comfortable. (I did two 16 hour days in them last year.)
Secondhand, I can endorse the Santiago. A friend has done the Paris Dakar and a whole seasons French enduros in a pair and now still using them two years later as day to day boots. He’s a professional rider including an all seasons motorcycle tester for a bike magazine, so they get kind of hammered.
Gaerne used to make boots (may still do) that were sold under the BMW brand. They do some good quality hardwearing boots that are warm, dry but still compfortable in the height of summer. Jackie and I both wear the Flow touring boot (currently £109 including postage).
