Blank firing or replica handgun wanted.

Hi was wondering if anyone had a blank firing gun or replica hangun they wanted to sell, due to change in the law the only ones the shop stock are the bright orange training ones. This is going to be used in a film, you can obtain a licence to acquire one for filming but they’re not doing it for a student film.

I’d prefer it if the gun fires, I do have ammo, 8mm and 9mm, but would prefer 8mm if possible as the ammo is a lot easier to get hold of. I’d prefer a modern looking semi auto-matic but if not will settle for revolver type gun.

Yeah might come to that but I really didn’t want it to be a glock anyway.

allways just get a black bb gun you can get nice metal ones cheaper then blanks and arfter effect it in mate

BB guns are governed by the same law (replicas) - you can only get all black if you have a firearms licence or are a member of a skirmish organisation. Otherwise bright colours it is again! lol

If you had one that dates back a few years, then its all fine.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong, air pistols (as far as I know) aren’t governed by the same law - so get one of those?

You can buy propper replica bb guns from the right shops mate. I got one the other week. Mine cost 170 but you can get cheaper ones. Buy a air gun magazine and there are shops advertised in the back.

The Berkut a2002 takes a magazine of 22 shots and can shoot bb’s or pellets and is accurate which us why i bought it.

Great fun to use.

I do have a Dan wesson but they look a bit **** on camera, it’s the nose of the gun, it’s too clearly identifiable, you can tell it’s fake.

I have a Co2 nickle plated CP88 you can buy if that’s any good? It looks more realistic than my blank firing browning.

You can add flash and noise to the film when editing. Blanks do not sound like the real thing anyway.

What else do you need? I have lots of ****.

How much is the nickle plated one? I’m kinda aiming for the cheap effect here.
