Biker down - Thursday 10th January c8.30am

A friend was riding her scooter into town on the corner of Dunstans Road and Underhill Road East Dulwich.

A van was turning left and a black Audi Saloon that was following swerved out to the right to overtake the turning van but in so doing hit the scooter.

My friend came off and injured her right leg. Thankfully only cuts and bruises.

The driver of the black Audi Saloon did not stop.

If anyone witnessed the accident please let me know.

Much appreciated.

Does the borough not have cameras there perhaps that the police can review. It is after all a hit and run which means the driver of the car will be prosecuted.

I was involved in an accident just last week - the police sent me a letter stating that most of the cameras are for traffic monitoring and do not as such record all footage. Your best bet would be witnesses.

“the police sent me a letter stating that most of the cameras are for easy money making and do not as such record all footage”

:Whistling:

Yup - in other words…

No cameras on that stretch of road unfortunately…Its pretty residential.

Sounds like a nasty knock…hope all is well.

If there is footage they only hold it for 28 days so get checking those cameras.
