A car driving friend told me he saw a biker down at about 8:30pm on the A406 under the Hanger Lane underpass friday night.
Anyone have any info on this, is the rider okay, I was told the bike was a total mess.

def not hearsay saw this guy down just into the underpass as you turn off the a40 at hanger lane about 8.40pm a mate got to the ace about twenty mins after me said he stopped and tallking to the police at the scene was told the guy didn’t make it …r.i.p fellow rider
we were there last night but did not see any accident…

A friend of mine said some woman had had a crash under the hanger lane? well thats what he was told before he left work up the road.

I bring you good news, when I arrived at work last night I enquired as to the condition of the biker from Friday. I am pleased to say bar a broken arm and leg he is doing fine and there are no other worries. His bike however will need a little more attention. Hope the news has made you feel better.

Hes alive OH YEAHHHHH broken bones heal and while hes not riding fixing his bike will make a good project

That’s great news! He will get better soon and be back on two wheels. That’s the only bit I find hard to get used too, the bad news.
It’s not happening more often now! We are getting the info that we didn’t have before LB, that’s all. The goverment said that the bike number grew over 20% last year and the number of accidents went down on a small percent related to the same period on the year before.
One accident is bad enough but it does happend everyday! Every single day! Let’s get safer out there boys and girls

i was blatantly told exactly what i posted by a fellow rider an forum member so i really cant figuire out what went on their

I saw the tail end of the accident and saw the bike being bounced from car to car to central reservation not to mention the rider!
I was already on the slip to hanger lane when this happened. I got off at Hanger lane went round the roundabout and back down to the shopping centre turnoff. I doubled back and was held up by A fire engine through the traffic.
When I got back to the slip road there was old bill and a car ambulance. I told the old bill what Id seen and he said it wernt good news. I left shortly after that.
Glad to hear the fellow is ok and sorry for any panic. I was given the impression (not to mention the scene or the way the rider went down) that he had come off worse than the cages.
