Warning: About 10 years ago I had a gf who attempted her CBT and discovered the hard way that biking wasn’t for her. Riding round the school playground in Vauxhall on a 125, it started to rain so she reached for her waterproofs in her bumbag. While she was stil riding! Result: she lost control and bashed into the perimeter fence, the police rang me to say she was in St Thomas’ Hospital with a dislocated knee. She hated biking after that, and me, and our 8 year relationship ended about a year later probably as a result of this.
My current gf keeps talking about doing the CBT but I do my best to put her off… :ermm:
