Firstly, hello everyone… Long time no speak! lol
Basically can anyone recommend a good Tracking System for the bike, one so that my bike can be monitored and if moved or stolen then can pinpoint where it is?
Thanks in advance!

Datatool do one I think? the one where it sends text messages to your phone.
Don’t go for one that uses Satnav because if theres no clear sight to the satalite then it can’t send out a signal.
Found one http://www.datatool.co.uk/consumer/products/products/index.php?product=snitcher
If not satnav GSM then which will tell you that your bike is somewhere in an area within few hundreds yards radius - what a help! Whatcha gonna do? Check all the sheds in there?
Both of them are close to useless for me, and for sure not worth the money.
You better get one of these!
If ya can wait until after the Trade Expo next week I am speaking to the companies that make them at the show for final details and fitting + order + prices Yes I will see what deals are on for bulk orders as I have four customers whant them already
Nice one Mike, keep me posted mate and let me know all the details, etc if you can! Cheers

No probs m8 I will get as much info as they will give if I can get a bigger discount for bulk fitting I will try to give as much notice as poss and a time too suit all
I have the datatool snitcher, in terms of tracking its pretty useless (unless the thief is a real thicko), but the text alert definately has its uses
The ones that I am looking at are full blown trackers with security Id cards if the alarm or the bike started and you or the card is not within about 2m of the bike you will get a phone call from the tracker company asking is all well if it is not they can give the police a blow for blow on what the bike is doing e.g. the bike is going south on the A406 at 45mph the bike has stopped at Hanger lane etc, etc. The tracker even works if the bike is put into a container
Sounds good,
I want one so that if i am fortunate enough to be follwing the theiving scum that I can fry the bike electrics just as they commit to a knee’s down turn. So that I can catch the little B****** and then test the breaking strain of my steel toe capped boots on thier already broken bodies.
How much would something like that cost? Approximately? Presumably there’s an annual fee, not just an initial one?
All the good trackers can be adapted to kill the bike electrics
The tracker you’re talkin about seems pretty cool. But you’ll need a place on the bike where thieves wont be able to find it, or at least take a long time to find it (prob not that easy if it has to be connected to the battery?). Def sounds like its worth having though.
Do you know how accurate the tracker is?
m9 - i’m defo interested
VHF based trackers can be used by the rozzers. bit steep at 499 for the full monty monitor one from TRACKER but that does include about a ton for the years subscription i think.
the gsm are if you fancy driving over to where its at with burly mates (and assumes its not in an underground/shielded place for phone networks).
I’m thinking a pager based system (to try and stop them before they get it) and then a monitored tracker has to be the way forward. I’m dubious about the ones where you notify as if you’re talking hours before your pride and joy is gone, it could already be in bits…
the tracker I am looking at will notify you the sec that the alarm it activated it can be tracked in a container lorry including the refrigerated ones (it been tryed) the box of tricks is no bigger than a 20 box of fags e.g.W x H x L 6cm x 2.5cm x 8.5cm so it can be hidden all black wired
The total price is what I am trying to work out with the companies so I will keep all posted
