Has anyone got anything good to say about the excell bike show? went there last year and thought it was sh**te so was hoping for drastic improvements. Oh well looks like early doors down the pub for 4 disappointed bikers 
For me there are three good things about it:

went today… I got the 2 tickets for £1 deal.
was a pleasant afternoon out… no real bargains but had a laugh sitting on the Ducati 848 and squishing me nuts after 20secs… how can anyone ride one of these?

Stunt show was best bit of day.
Glad I only paid £1 for ticket, wouldn’t have been impressed had I paid either £14 or £18 though.
Only saw a couple of bargains, like a new lid (although I don’t need one!)
Apart from that, not alot else:ermm:
i thought it was ok.only got two hour parking after what was said on here.wish i had more parking in the end.but then again i got my tickets for nout so im not sure i would have paid the £18+ for them.not as much there as last year

there was a link in on of the threads for 1,000 free tickets just the £1 handeling fee. All gone though.
Yep, I agree - the stunt show was absolutely amazing! Cant believe those dudes jump 360’s about 4 or 5 times a day like it was a normal day in the office!
As far as the rest is concerned - I only go for the gear really. I got the lid I wanted for £20 cheaper than I had seen it anywhere else. An RST one piece for £199!! and jacket and trousers for my commute for £90!! OK so its not ALpineStars or SIDI etc etc but I reckon those companies sometimes get laxed as they dont have much to prove.
At least this time all my armour is CE approved!!
Went Saturday. Bit busy but the stalls/ stands suddenly thinned out at 4pm when the MCN babes hit the stage:D
Bought what I was after- new boots (Oxtar £90), winter gloves (Held £70) and a tail pack (Kruga £35) so I went away happy. 
Personally, I thought it was all a bit crap - stunt show was tame, nothing I ain’t seen before, and the stalls were full of ‘typical’ biker tack.
No real bargins to be had, but then if the stall prices are so high then the holders cant really afford to offer decent deals.
Got an arai condor for £175, £200 everywhere else i looked
Was a good show IMOGot a Shoei Raid II for £130 rather than the £250 I’d seen in the shops…Loved the stunt show, especially Terry Grant and his expensive cars.
Dunno where the try a bike thing was happening or where the learner biker try a bike thing was either. Was looking to get the girfriend on a 125 so she could see what its all about. 
Enjoyed the show, but Glad BumbleBee bought the tickets :laugh:
Ed bought a Shoei Multitec for £230 instead of £290 or thereabouts so he was happy - the X-Spirit’s getting a bit frayed round the edges and the flip-front’ll be more convenient for the Continental trips.
I got a new lid… the Boo is no more! RIP Boo!

saw a nice new £400 arai for £279, but dont need a lid lol
craft helmets were more then the retail price for some reason along with other things i saw.
glad it only cost £7 tog et there and back

still not impressed though
