Going on Sunday (only day I can do) with the father in law, in the market for some gloves, and possibly some road leathers.

Tell them there’s a surge charge pricing inforced them days. Least that’ll pay for new gear 
Honestly not planning on going, the Excel show has gotten worse and worse. Manufacturers are avoiding it, punters can’t be arsed with going into London for it, let alone paying ULEZ. They should’ve kept the Peterborough show going instead.

I only have Friday off that weekend - I’ll wait n see whats the weathers like - probably going to be *hite - Haven’t been around M25 in a while. Used to be so quick straight through town in the M4 - embankment but no more - I don’t know how you guys can put up with central London riding
Paid the money, paid parking and the congestion zone, it wasn’t worth it.
It was OK, but not worth the trip.

Does that mean no gloves or leathers?
Funnily enough I brought a pair of gloves on the first stand I saw, it was Scott leathers, and they had some 50 quid gloves in a basket. Seconds due to stains etc…as their sign said if there good enough for Bruce Ansty…lol
They seem pretty good tbh.
There were a couple of leather stalls, cant remember the name of the big one, but had loads of RST suits and 2 pieces but they were all Tractec EVO 5.
I have had one of those 2 piece suits and whilst good, you walk around like a knob, so wanted one of their other ranges with a less race cut, but I didnt see any.
Could be user error, but ill check out sportsbikeshop, MCA or J&S as they are near ish me
Peterborough showground hasn’t renewed its events license. So no chance the show will come back there ever again.
The showground was bought up by a developer & they’ve been given planning permission to build 1,500 houses on it.
Probably due to it not existing. There is talk of a new showground, but nothing confirmed.
