Wow, what a day! The organisers did a good job of ordering the hottest day of the year for it! Claire and I rode in and on the way saw 33°C on the bike when we got there we changed into shorts and T-shirts and flip-flops then set about exploring the event.
it was a really good event this year, with a really good selection of vendors, performers, manufacturers display bikes and food stalls. The place was absolutely rammed!
it was a little bit too hot in places. Some of the rooms were more like saunas than showrooms. The organisers could do with arranging more air-conditioning next year and also more water fountains that actually have some pressure so you don’t have to have like a 20 person deep queue or trying to use a dribble of water.
Good crowd, good vibe, good show. Would definitely recommend you go if you’ve got the time.
mentally I spent a fortune and actually would’ve tried on a few items of clothing but it was just too hot for that so they took some photos of the items and will look to see if the same deals are available online.
