My Thundercat is well due it’s 30,000 mile service. Any recommendations on where to get it done? I live in NW6.
Also, any rough ideas on how much it should cost?

One of your closest is probably Yamaha Sport and Leisure. I took my Fazer there to begin with but after the last experience, never again (nor to collin collins).
Expect it to cost at least £300, probably £400 if valve clearance needed.
Are you running the thundercat on 4K or 6K services?
do it yourself (with some help) or get someone you know who is a mechanic to do it!! Who do we know…Charlie, Gina - but get the valves checked by professional!
Motorcycle Service Centre on Harrow Road or SRS in Hammersmith, both have good feedback.
Makes a lot of sense … you start to get a feel for how the bike works, what condition things are in, and you know that it’s done right!
To be honest, the thought of doing myself doesn’t really appeal, however I would be happy to pay a fellow LB’er and watch
you must be the only person who doesn’t want to do their selves?!?!?
Paying to watch… well thats a different matter!
Why Not take it to Rex Judd In West Hampstead. I know you bought it from them . You are so local it would be crazy not to. I know you had a bit of a rough start with them but I’m sure you’d get a good treatment from them if you return.
In fact I’d guarantee it!!
im may be in that area tomorrow with my mate, he uses rex judd and seems happpy with them.
if you around could meet with you and take you there if you like. ?
Since the 1st mishap with the ‘lovely’ Paul, I have been more than happy with the service recieved at Rex Judd. When I explained what had happened to Steve, he got me another bike the same day which I immediately bought, and Dave the mechanic has looked after me as well.
Unfortunately I got hit off my bike on Thursday and it looks like a write off, it’s over in West Hampsted now.
Unless I buy my next bike privately, I’m pretty sure it’ll come from Rex Judd again.
