I think you should come on the next dunstable one, we’ve had plenty of newbie riders come with us and they’ve all seemed to enjoy it, and so far each group is a mixture of old hands and new faces so everyone else is looking out for each other, apart from losing gixxerich 
on last one and to quote others on here, “we dont act like dickheads” trying to scare newbies as we want them to come out again. 
The main thing is enjoy yourself, let people know your new to group riding, talk to people and if you need fuel dont just stop let someone know who can catch the leader to let them know that way all stop together.
