It is highly bike friendly … leave it alone long enough and it has lots of new friends …minus your companionship …

Just got back from Weston Super Mare which has a massive bike park right next to the beach with railings you can chain your bike up to! Perfect 
Bit of a trek though from London, although there are some nice roads if you know which ones to head for.
