Bengal Kitten

I know it’s not bike related.

I’m thinking about getting a Bengal but I have done some research!
Discovered they can be little monsters, give lots of verbal and can suffer from IBS.

Oh and not mention a special diet. I have a cat that is a cross Siamese, lets just say she has lots of character.

Any advice from folk that own one and where to get a little monster from.

Thanks in advance.

I have heard they are very destructive.

I share my house with a Bengal, and i would say that most of the rumours you hear are true. Very vocal, loads of character, very territorial (that means prone to marking territory vociferously too by the way, we had to throw away a quite expensive toaster not long ago). The cat we have we took from owners that couldn’t cope with him but he calmed down quickly in comparison as he now gets far more company and attention. IBS has not been a problem for us, but he is only 5 so there is still time.

He is definitely an active member of the household who can annoy and reward in equal measure, lots and lots of character and great company at times, at other times you just wish he would shut up! Very playful and affectionate, and very pretty, but very loud.

Pm me with your number, maybe you could come and meet him.

Thanks KTM D will pm you

You have confirmed what I thought, mmmm would fit in well in my household!

I had a cat once that used to mark me!

Reading this I’m surprised you’re not Ducati owners as well!!

Ally

It’s on the list
Been looking at a 1198

Sounds like a mate of mine!

Sounds like a fair deal mate, you get the 1198 and Nic gets a Bengal kitten to keep her occupied:D

It’s Pin that wants the Bengal.

I want him to buy the Ducati so I can ride it…it’s win win

I’ve just been reading that a lot of people, give a way the cat as they can not cope with them.

That worries me

Get a Savannah !

Never heard of a Savannah before but they look amazing, if a little large!! Get one of those

nah, if you want large, get a Maine Coon,

descended from North American wildcats by the looks of them.

get a normal cat from the rescue, you’ll enjoy it much more than that.

friend of mine had 3 bengals as she was allergic to fur (go figure). one kept escaping and throwing himself under cars, one liked to chew on electric cables and the other had a passion for playing with her husband’s dangling testis.

needless to say, the didnt last very long.

My friend has two Bengal cats, I’ve looked after them a couple of times. I wouldn’t say they are over vocal compared to other cats I’ve had though the marking of territory is defo more.

They are like most cats, friendly when they want to be

Don’t tempt Pin on the Savannah he’s looked at them.

We have had the usual cats, but since having Dora who has a bit of Bengal character it got Pin thinking.

Poor Dora is not a well cat she had PE in July so time may not be on her side.

Hence the Bengal. It’s the marking I would prefer a female, as Milch used to mark me.

Going to keep researching till the time comes.

If you want a great Bengali, go to The Taste Of Raj, 76 Alderman’s Hill, Palmers Green N13 4PP. The head Bengali there is Anwa, and he’ll certainly look after you.

aceman, are you a bit pissed? this thread is about cats and its a year old!!!

thanks for the almost completely unrelated restaurant recommendation though.

I’ve got no idea how I stumbled onto this thread, so thought I’d just throw in some humour. The restaurant is truly terrific, it’s my favourite place to eat out.

So what did Nic get?

Capital A for Aceman, please.

That sounds a good resturant
Down the road from my sister too…

But yes I got a Bengal Kitten! Little monster.

If it keeps costing a fortune to keep
So far it’s tryed all the food in petsathome
.

Do you think that if I take it down to that restaurant will he cook it for me
