Happened to a friend of mine except he’d unknowingly been to Thailand!!

Got on it soon as i noticed , could only get through to some woman in india!!! took her ten mins to understand that i had never been to india, told them im not paying just got to wait to get all the forms to fill in and send back.
I donated 243 pounds to a church in California once,…believe that if you will…a church stealing money from my account…credit card paid it back without problem…

One weekend last year I apparently used 4 ATMs in Hungary… :pinch:

Once I went shopping to Argos and then another time I was in holiday in Thailand, very nice hotel, also filled up at petrol station.
Since I have about 11 credit cards I tend to use 1 each time I got out so I know exactly where and who served me.
One was in a petrol station and another was at franky and benny’s at showcase on the A13.
I know exactly who the guy is because he took my card away, said there was an issue then returned after liek 10 minutes… was very odd so I made sure I made a note of it, obviously he decided to go in Thailand on my card. I found it funny as I saw the guy there again and again… so he never got cough, the petrol station that took my details also took another mate’s details… told the police that but made no difference.
There was a spate of petrol stations in West Kent/East Surrey last year duplicating cards – in fact 99% of the time it does seem to be petrol stations (although I won’t be visiting Frankie & Benny’s again now either!)

I booked a holiday to New Zeland this year, and i didn`t even have to use my card, nice that people think of me like that.

Some scumbag bought a load of KTM goodies right around my birthday.
Was in Paris one time buying my girlfriend a nice pair of trousers but my credit card didn’t work as it was being used at that precise moment to buy computer games in Kingston upon Thames. That time it had been cloned in a now-defunct petrol station on Brixton Hill.
A few years later I got my statement to find that I had spent £300 in Rumania. On that occasion it was cloned at a well-known supermarket near Tottenham Court Road.
Be very wary when typing in your PIN number. Store security cameras can zoom in on what you type. Cashier drops your card on the floor, swipes it before handing it back, and bingo.

I wish. That was the only place I had used that card, so that was the only place it could have been cloned. Security cameras are positioned right above the PIN input keypads above each till. Brilliant thinking, that supermarket company.
They don’t even need to clone your card now, they try semi-random numbers and then milk an account when they hit on a set of numbers that work. They know how the card numbers are created.
If you hide your PIN and they have a camera with sound recording they go by the sound imput the digits make so hiding is no longer safe… Banks should make them silent. WTF do you want the sound for anyhow??
Besides you say I watch too much TV… I know this 100% as a guy that is involved with these things showed me. Was thiinking to give his details to the Police but not sure how this would help at all… since they don’t seem to care. Besides he moves away now, all I have from him is his name and car number plate.
