Been spending...

Smashed my piggy bank and just bought a Gopro HD Hero Motorsports pack for £239. Got it from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300527446695&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I ordered it Tuesday afternoon and it arrived at Wednesday lunchtime…from Latvia :w00t: Can’t wait to get it onto the blade and start posting some riding on youtube

Good luck and enjoy  They’re a bit fiddly to use, but you can get some good results.

I just bought a good few replacement cases and brackets from Action Cameras which I need to put to good use. I’ve mostly used a helmet mount, though I do end up looking like a Telly Tubby. Gets loads of mostly positive attention as you drive through, even if does look a bit daft :w00t:

£183.7026 in the US, should have got one when I was over there, instead I got something else, debating if I should use it on the bike on the handle bars.

I’m going to try helmet first I think. My mate told me the suction pad works brilliantly on the tank so will give that a go too.

Depends on the tank to be honest, you just need a flat surface to put the suction pad on.

After extensive testing I have found that the only place to really place it is, in order of how good the view is:

1, On the screen, so that the camera points over the top.
2, On a side panel so that you get the front wheel in the view
3, On the Helmet.

The helmet gives the best quality in terms of vibration, but you get a load of head turning and it is also way too high and looks odd when you watch it back.

Thanks for the advice Kaos, I think I’ll be riding up and down the road quite a few times until I’m happy. My mate has tried the suction mount on his fireblade and it works fine.
