Been Dyno'd

Not me silly!

Still not really sure what Les has done to the Ducati. But it carbs up much, much better now!:cool: The flat spot seems to be gone:w00t:

I had the mota rebuilt somewhere else. It went in running like a Swiss Whatch and came out running like a sacko sh!t!:angry: The engine builder had 3-4 attempts to sort it, but it was getting near to unpleasentness so I walked rather than stick one of his own spanners up his Arsenal Shirt!

The Sneaky Buttometre confirms what the dyno graph says. The flat spot has gone. Gasing it hard out a turn when nearly home did cause a different kinda cough/blip, that was the only thing in about 5mls home. I had 2 new tyres fitted whilst it was there, so I was taking it a lil’easy in the turns

It was running on its own when started from cold too. Summit the bike dont like to do until the temp needle starts to near the 50 mark.

Its early days, but if you’re aving carburation probs, looks like Les at www.banjaxmotorcycles.co.uk is the man in town!:cool:

So, just the clutch/brake fluids to change and the fuel tank level sender unit…oh and speedo cable and the bike should be ready for the gravel trap at Paddock Hill Bend!

Great news George, good to hear the Duke is finnally getting the love and attention it deserves :slight_smile:

I still prefer the Fabled Unicorn :stuck_out_tongue: :slight_smile:

The last time that bike was dyno’d, the dyno broke. I kid you not!:blush: Thats why The Riot has magical powers beyond its means!:smiley:

900ss = 68bhp
The Riot = 39bhp.

You know how fast The Riot is, you’ve chased it (allegedly) from Passingford Bridge to Abridge on your ZZR1400! An unfair fight of course, but the ZZR did its best!:smiley:
