Missing snow leopard cats, abandoned bearded dragons - how irresponsible and cruel is that? You should have to have a licence to keep exotic creatures like these.
How can anyone be so cruel.
I was expecting to read about James Caan.
Oh well.
Are you sure you don’t need a licence for these? I thought you needed a specific licence for exotic pets? Of course I’m no expert, I’ve only ever had dogs!
Apparently you only need a licence if they are venomous reptiles (dangerous) otherwise you can own what you like. . .
We went to a pet centre about a month ago, where you could just pick up these, snakes and loads of other reptiles as easy as anything! It’s wrong really, as people don’t know how to look after them. I’ve bought a snake in the past, no questions asked or anything and they were breeders. Not very responsible on their part.
That’s disgraceful, I hope someone shops the owners and they get a nice hefty fine, totally unnecessary!
What’s ridiculous is that these people were too lazy to take them to the local RSPCA shelter, explain the situation and hand over the care to someone else! Why put them in a bag and just leave them at the side of the road?!?
