OK managed to give the bike a bit of a clean and check over this afternoon so might as well commit and have some of this. Anyone coming from the A10 direction happy to meet up on the way. Apologies in advance for any lack of pace as its been a while and am 200cc/3 cylinders down these days - plans are underway to fix this in the very near future:w00t:

See you all in the morning

I,m in! (I’m not sure the wet weather electrical issues are cure on my bike though! :ermm: )

Cooltempo I’ll be coming around from NW London. But may be early and drop my bag at my family home. May even stop there for breakfast, I’ll let you know.

Well this is a blast from the past ,Sneaky.Mad Dog and the suave Italian:cool:

No worry fella I’ll pm you my number. You on the sofa or That Bike?

That Bike!:w00t: They are both broken, but the Sofa is broken more!

Ah, I see somethings never change. Get well soon Robert :pinch:

Quote of the day:
Between Johnmoto “dont you think your bike needs a wash?” And hearing a certain XR600/KTM Hybrid pull up at the meet -Andrei’s "is your bike been fitted with dry clutch? "

Yes, hope Robert mends well.

I can now see what all the fuss is about, some great technical roads that need your full attention.
Really enjoyed it chaps, hope to do it again soon.

Thanks all for coming and get well soon Blade.

So it was a proper bcr then  sounds like blade out and hope he back on bike soon. shame i woke up late :frowning:

Great ride so big thanks to Kaos for calling and good to see some old new faces.Hopefully Blade makes a quick recovery and gets the bike sorted without any stress.

Colltempo, sorry I was waiting at Abridge for you. I thought you’d gone another route. I felt a right peanut when I realised it was you at the lights!

These are for Redrat :w00t:

Kaos will be needing a clean pair of those!

That was scary to be honest.

Odd thing is, I captured it on video, from my point of view with a helmet cam…don’t seem like nothing, a bit of a wiggle on the camera and a bit of sobbing from me thereafter.

Should have made you wear the camera Sneaky you would have got some excellent rear wheel wiggle footage.

And thank heavens nothing was coming in the opposite direction, and I had plenty of road to get control.

No worry fella think I took the wrong exit at the roundabout and went via Stapleford Abbots. Thanks for the leg out tip, tried it through last loop and see what you mean about the 3d feel. Also getting the idea about carrying more speed of through the corners, just need to re-adjust the brain!!

I uploaded the 10 sec segment

Will be available to watch at some point. I pass one patch of gravel and you hear me say woah (thought that was the patch we had been warned about) and then I hit another, larger, patch on the next corner.

I left the sound on so you can hear my terrible laugh afterwards, I think that was a fear fuelled laugh.

Video will be available shortly…

Oh and before anyone starts…I waved George through as I was busy trying to unpucker my arse.
