i have a Knox Riccochet ( see link) and rode over 200 miles with Angel holding onto my neck for dear life.
Its really nice and light, and you forget your wearing it, no comfort issues at all!
I can confirm the Dainese back protector I bought works extremely well - having slid along part of Cadwell Park on it. I got up with only a few minor aches and pains 
i have the icon field armor vest, and i love it. it’s comfortable and i feel safe wearing it.
