Stayed at a nice hotel once called Ashdown Park. The whole area around there is beautiful - lovely roads… 
Mu mum used to live in Crowborough. She has moved a bit south since then, but I always used to ride around there and used to love watching the military aircraft take off from the Army base there. There is a lot of Army ground in the Forest, too. I love all the chinooks and helicopters they had there. Awesome!
I go past Ashdown forest quite a lot, real nice area, and great roads if you haven’t got some old biddy travelling barely at 30 around the corners. Always seems to happen to me
