My tenancy contract runs out soon, end of May I think. I’m looking for some new living space. North London preferred but will consider any offer.

I need something reasonable size which will fit 2 people, me and my bro who is coming to UK in July.
The need is safe parking space for motorbike. I have metal apex shed which would fit my and bro’s bike if there was easy access to back garden where I could stick it in. If you have proper garage even better.

I tried gumtree.com and other sites but no luck finding anything which would suit me.

Please tell me where are all these nice places :smiley:

I will look into houses in London but they are more expensive and the ones with garage hard to find.

TIP = Try looking for bungalows as not all houses have garages.

Strewth that’s still London ! Try outside the M25, Hatfield has some cheap houses with garages, on the A1, very easy access to Lunnon and the Ace and some of the best, nsl, scamera free roads just 5 mins away

Having seen the posts over the months, can I ask you lot not to move into the Bromley area, please.

It’s quiet, it’s green and not too far from London and I like it like that.

My ladyfriend and her sister have both moved down to london in the last 4 months and they used this site: http://www.moveflat.com/cgi-bin/dbr.asp?n=1950 to get their accomodation - it looked better than gumtree which was full of oddballs and the likes, not that london isn’t but I’m sure there were a disproportionate number on gum tree!

Whereever you do go in London, if your gaff doesnt have a garage, then phone the council and see if there are any council garage’s around!

A few of my mates live at London bridge, have underground secure parking, nice flat etc etc, i think they pay between £180-200 a month each? not sure what your budget is or anything like that!
