Went on a karting day years ago and the helmets had a similiar design. It pissed with rain but the vision was superb. Maybe time for them to make a return?

they use these on ships too…they work a treat…would be easy to design a helmet with the same idea but it would not look pretty at all…wipers on the helmet seem like they should be possible too but both will need power and I guess its not particularly easy…but with modern engineering and materials it has to be doable…
Could use Kinetic power, and since you’re on a Kwak with stiff suspension, your head must be wobbling pretty damn often

I’ve seen those still in use in single seaters/ go karts in the last couple of years when racing. The guys gave 'em a quick spin before the green light to make sure it worked instantly for the first corner 
Anyone remember the truck and bus mirrors on ‘Tomorrows World’ that were electric and spun to stay dry and clean? They obviously caught on :blink:
