Does anyone know if you would be allowed onto tracks with low cut boots?
In particular, im refering to these: http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2007/11/sidi-streetburner-brings-race.html
I specifically need to know for brands hatch, but other circuit info would also be helpful.
Best to ring the track day organiser, they might have different rules from the track owner. I know one LBer with those boots and I’m sure she plans to use them on track, or may even have done so by now.
Or failing that just ring Motorsport Vision who own Brands and ask for their track day department.
very much doubt you can use those - they offer no shin protection and would leave a gap between the leather trousers and the boot.
full boots are fine under jeans anyway on the street? cant see that those offer much of a benefit other than allowing more heat to hit your legs/ankle area. spend a lot of time in my full sidi vertigo’s and the comfort is surprisingly good (and mine dont squeak)
