Did anyone play (or know of…) any decent april fools?? I’m bored at work and looking for a giggle!
i rang me mate on our call number earlier and told him there was an emergency with a client in manchester and we had to get up there asap…he rang me back telling me he was ready to go and was waiting at end of the road…i was still in bed laughing :D…that was about it for me today
A few of us managed to convince most of our school that we were introducing school on saturdays, after Easter…about two weeks ago I faked some newspaper reports advocating this and left them lying around. Also has some tactical conversations with other teachers, which we made sure were overheard and we also faked a letter from our LEA which was shown to the kids.
Today we officially announced the plans…I even got my class writing letters of complaint to our head before coming clean…at the end the lesson I got them to look in their dictionaries and tell me which words followed Apricot and Food…one by one the penny slowly dropped and I was soon being called all the names under the sun.
Suspect they’ll want revenge next year.
Someone convinced me that there is a new EU ruling about yellow Hi-vis jackets for work, that they will all be pink as it`s a colour that people notice better than yellow.
