Anyone seen the Kingdom the movie?

Saw it just the other night.

Amazing film with an excellent ending! has made the scenes in Mumbai seem all to real…

Will never understand what causes someone to calculate a situation to such precision knowingly causing human sufforing. For what? Muslim? Pakistani? Indian? feckin ar£**oles

I’ve seen it, Jennifer Garner’s fight scene is mental! i really liked the film.

not seen it yet, will put it on the list

Saw it when it first came out about a year ago I believe. Amazing film, ive carried on in the same vein, watching similar films, very educational politics wise tbh.

I’d have missed this if it hadn’t been for your post . . . just seen the trailer (which is a bit pants) but always love a good involving movie, particular if it is/could be/is based on truth.

Nice one!

I watched the kingdom and must admit I thought it was the biggest pile of **** i’d ever seen. It portrays a particularly bad picture of the kingdom one which is unjustified in my opinion. The action scenes may be decent, however, that alone isnt enough to make it a good film.

The reason though, was because I lived in “the kingdom” for 9 years and at NO point in that 9 years, (which only ended the other year when I moved back to the UK) did I feel under ANY threat from ANY one. I’d move back there any day, it was the best place I’ve ever lived, the lifestyle was great, the social life was great, the locals were great, I loved everything about it.

Fair point i guess but im not worried that its was an accurate portrayal or not of the area? no offense i just thought the message was good…
Its a hollywood film what do you expect! hardly a documentary.

Not sure what the message was. The only one I got was that the Americans should be allowed to go anywhere and shoot anyone they want. Or the fuzzie wuzzies can’t do anything without the help of Americans…

Having said that, I did enjoy it as a hollywood thriller/action movie.

Message being! In a world where both sides want to kill each other there will be no end. Obvious but well illustrated

fair play, in terms of action scenes and that it was a good film… and a hollywood blockbuster!
