Anyone recommend a cafe in the Romford/Hainault area?

Hi, I’m looking for a bike friendly cafe in that general area, hopefully somewhere with a bit of parking?

I’m from Sarf London…

Ta for reading,

when you thinking of, im in elm park, you are welcome to park on me drive, or bike in the garage, nice little village, its the only one left in havering,

High Beach tea hut.

Yeah, High Beech tea hunt s obvious choice for a biker meet. However for some decent nosh near Hainault there’s a couple of decent pubs on Lambourne Rd (runs along top of Hainault park), the Miller & Carter ain’t bad for a chain gastro pub, or there’s the Two Brewer’s 0.5 mile down road from it. Neither particularly biker oriented, but decent nosh.

Avoid Romford centre though, it’s a total dive!

Lots of cafés in Barkingside High st, cafe 104 near sainsburys & use their car park

The Fairlop Oak a Wetherspoon pub isn’t bad, on roundabout top of Barkingside High st.

Burnham Bends is close by isnt it?

There’s a decent cafe in the car park of Hainult Forest golf club, used it a number of times when playing golf myself.

Not the quickest service but proper full on fry ups etc if thats what you want, loads of free parking as well.

I think the tea hut will do just nicely, I’ll have a group of 10, don’t want to give them too much opportunity for sitting around…

Many thanks to all for your help,

JC

High Beech tea hut is a fine place for a cuppa and they do sell cakes & bacon butties but the loo facilities are non existent if you don’t like peeing in the woods and there can be some very odd people hanging around there:ermm:

definitely using the tea hut now…:Whistling:
