anyone know 2000 r6 tyre pressure's? or where to find them?

hi guys, does anyone know where i can find correct tyre pressure’s for yamaha r6 2000 plate? i havent got the bike manual and cant find on the net…

and also should you up/reduce pressures for track use? cheers alex

Look on your swingarm for stickers. There’s usually some indication of what pressure you need on there.

This forum page seems to indicate 36 in the front and 36/38 in the rear. You have to get past their fighting to get to the info you need.

Depends on the tyres, and lower them respectively. Check an R6 forum for specifics, or experiment

ybr125 and a zx6r there. they know where to look though.

Tire pressure when cold:

up to 90KG load:
Front 36PSI
Rear 36PSI

  • At 90KG load (maximum):
    Front 36PSI
    Rear 42PSI

i’m running 33-36. track 30-33. it depends on your weight too.
