Anyone have some wheelchair suitable ramps they aren't using, to sell/lend

After his recent accident, my son is safely installed in his wheelchair and is doing nicely at his bedsit. His bedroom is on the ground floor with a bathroom and kitchen, so it’s better than being at our place.

However, the front door has a tall lip (about 4 or 5 inches) and also a step. It’s tough to get him in and out safely. So I was looking at ramp solutions and before I go on Ebay, I wondered if anyone has any ramps they want to sell (or lend if you need them later).

cant you cut a small piece of wood up and sit in in front of the step so its a kind of half step should make it easyer to get in and out =] best of luck and i hope he heals up fast

I may well have someting you could borrow at work, let me double check and I’ll PM you. if I cant do a proper rated ramp then I might have some ply you could fashion into one.

Yeah it might well be something where even a wooden ramp would help get him onto the small step and then from there we can lean him backwards to get him in. So yeah, anything you have would be helpful and I could get busy with a saw and screwdriver…

I can put my hands on some when can you collect them They are ready for now PM me for time and day

Awesome, just picked up Brians ramps - absolutely perfect - thanks Brian!

And thanks also to KTM and Ross for the input/offers. LB forum is full of the nicest people…
