Anyone around tomorrow to help me?

anyone out there want to come round my gaff tomorrow to see if they can get my side fairing off, I need to replace the rear pads and wanted to drain the current brake fluid.

problem is the screws are so tight (one has no head) I cannot get them off need the bike to be ready for the treasure hunt on sunday.

have you tried heating it up abit of wd40 on it? or just drill the head off and hopefully get molegrips on the rest

thats beyond me to be honest mate, also they are recessed into the fairing to cutting off aint going to be easy

Try using an impact driver. I had a nightmare trying to loosen the screws when I disassembled my carbs, until someone suggested an impact driver, worked a treat !

ah ha just remembered get a dremel and cut a slot in the head of the bolt then use a big meaty flat head driver to crack it

can’t mate the screws a recessed into the fairing, I would cut a hole in the fairing as well…

picture?

will ad on tonight so you can all have a look
