Any Renthal stockists in London ?

Anyone know if there’s a shop in london that stocks Renthal bars ?

Specifically looking for a set of ultra-lows.

Have tried googling but no joy.

I know B&C provide great service, but don’t see the point in paying an extra fiver for delivery when I could pick them up locally, especially with the somewhat random nature of the postal service at the moment.

TIA

I got mine from Poleposition (http://polepositionint.com/). I don’t think they had the ones I wanted in stock, but ordered them so I could pick them up the next day.

I phoned Hein Gericke in Gants Hill about a year ago, they don’t stock them in the store but can order them in apparently.

out of interest are renthal bars wider and make filtering more difficult? Am quite tempted to try out a lower position on a bandit, but not if filtering becomes a pain with wide bars

Thanks for the tips guys, will try HG first as they’re easier to get to.

Re the question about them being wider, they’re not one single bar size, there’s a range of sizes, see : http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/cgi-bin/bc_page.pl?cat=HB-DIMENSIONS

For the Bandit I’d recommend the ultra lows, I’ve had them on my B12 for years & they’re a great improvement on the originals & IIRC they’re also narrower.

^^^ brilliant thanks for the advice

try brackens or any sort of off roaf/supermoto bike shop.
wot colour do you want? might have a gold pr on the go.

Slightly off “where?”

What the heck are all the measurements given for Renthal bars all about?

O.K. I can get to grips with the bar diameter, but after that you get three or four measurements (in inches) that refer to what?

Thanks, but it’s a toss up between black or blue I’m afraid, gold would just be a bit too bling to suit !

Well there’s the overall width, the width of the central clamping area, the rise i.e. how high above the yoke clamps the end bits you hold onto are, and the sweep i.e. how angled back the afore mentioned holdy-on bits are in relation to a straight bit of bar.

To prove the point that a picture is worth a thousand of my waffly words, the diagram at the top of the page - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/cgi-bin/bc_page.pl?cat=HB-DIMENSIONS should make it clearer.

Pat,
