Another one gone

Been asked to post this here , mutual friend has suffered from the white van man !

HAYABUSA DARK GREY NEW SHAPE K8

REG: VK57 JWV

STOLEN FROM WESTEN GATEWAY IN DOCKLANDS SAT 14.45

witness said 3 lads bout 20/25 loaded it into a white box van reg: R733 ULU

police said no cameras were on that part of the carpark that day and they will contact him in 72 hours Angry

sorry to hear, makes me sad:( hope your friend gets it back…

Forward the van reg to the mods on here - it may have been registered before with thefts? Or maybe on another thread?

scum

+1:angry:

Dont know if same guys, but 3 of em took ours bout 3 yrs ago now? White Van and last numbers were UL something according to neighbour who saw them take it? That was just up the road from Docklands…others have recently had same, so guess your right, the “white van mans” about again !!

Poxy scumbags they havent made a word to describe these pond life !!

Work every day, pay your taxes etc, buy the bike of your dreams (and not only bike, ANYTHING) pay the high price to insure it, and which u never get back bikes worth anyway end of the day, all the inconvienence of finding another bike or getting to work etc, eventually get paid out, for what its worth, get another bike, pay higher insurance, and white van man comes around again for a second “thankyou very much” stealing day !!!

So if anyone can create a “word” for these ****ers…let us know and we will use it…

sorry for your friend, know what its like mate…

damn…

will keep an eye and ear out…

hope it comes back…

He’s truly gutted , only had it a week !

Probably all shipped up in a crate by now heading East !

Gutted for him.

This is awful. Feel for the guy.

This is dreadful! - Thoughts going out to your mate!

Its probably the biggest worry for us Londoners… we get disk locks, chain locks, covers, alarms, immobilisers… and yet this still happens!

Sorry to hear this, and even worse he only had it for a week. Looks like an informed job.

What I find difficult to understand in all of these thefts is the lack of response from the Police.

I know their jobs are hard enough and I appreciate that , but surely due to the sheer numbers of bikes being nicked it would warrent a larger offensive on their part. Even if it meant greater access to the CCTV feeds.

I was tempted to write in under the DPA and request the footage and have a look for myself !

After reading Jay’s post about how long it takes to even hear back it’s shocking !

Scum of the earth!! Couple of years ago up here in the north east, the police stopped an articulated refrigirated lorry and when they opened up the back it was full of bikes, cause it was insulated you could hardly hear the bike alarms going off. We always get the scum in the spring time coming up from down south when the weather gets better. Almost caught one once, would have done time for what i would have done to him… Hope he gets it back

Our Busa was bundled into the back of white van too.

We had a call from police after a 2 weeks asking for descriptions and said they would be back in touch - still waiting and that was 5 years ago!

Its not a new thing and will continue whilst the thieves are let away with it! We were kindly told thats why you have insurance

I think its come to the point where new bikes shouldn’t be sold without a Tracker device. This is the case with some cars now and they are a lot harder to steal nowadays.

I feel for the guy as I’ve had 3 bikes stolen.

Where the Police are concerned, unfortunately vehicle crime is pretty low priority. Calling them after a theft is only a formality to ensure that your insurance pays out.

The manufacturers should bite the bullet and installed these devices on new bikes, and yes, pass the charges on to the customer.

At least it would make the life of the thieving sons of feeces more difficult.

damn sorry to hear that mate, spesh as just got the bike !!

why the hell cant the police do more pro-active work to catch these scrotes !!

Anybody remember an article in one of the bike magazines years ago when a group of you lads in london got pissed of with the amount of bikes getting knicked. So what they did was set a bike up then a crowd of them hid in a van parked near by. When the theiving little scum came along and tried to lift it they were taken into the back of the van for a good talking to;) Im not condoning violence but its what these feckers need. Police do little these days if a bike gets nicked thats just one more off the road, as far as the police are concerned, we are but 2nd class citizens in this country.

If anyone’s interested the van is apparently a Suzuki Supercarry, which is one of thos tiny japanese vans, and remarkably according to www.askmid.co.uk it’s insured. Can we have a description of the van as well as the registration mark… big/small luton panel van obvious damage unusual stickers in rear windows, fluffy dice - anything like that helps.? If I see it when I’m in London tomorrow I’ll instruct my driver to ram it off the road:)

there has to be a way to stop all of this…tracker, shot guns, brain transplants…lobbotomy…do they still do that…they should…

hey john am back in Bolsover clinic the 24th Feb…when you next there…can you beleive they forgot about me…had to chase them this week…
