Another newbie

It’s been a long time since I was a newbie at anything motorcycle related, but it was a bit presumptuous to start posting without introducing myself, so apologies for that!
I’m Nick, I live in Holloway, I’ve been riding since 1977, I’ve got a Norton Commando I’ve had since 1985, and a BMW R100 since 2002. I’ve never really got on with ‘modern’ bikes, last one I had was a triumph daytona, I bought the BMW when it broke it’s starter motor. The BMW never gives me a reason to sell it, the Norton gives me plenty but I just can’t bring myself to do it…
I’ll make the effort to come up to the Ace when I get the Norton’s head back from the blacksmiths, hopefully in the next few weeks. I do get up there regularly, I’ve known Mark Willsmore for many many years.
