Hi guys, Apologies if a similar q has been asked before but I haven’t had the time to search.
I’m going to transfer the insurance from my old bike to my newly acquired GSXR K6 today. Do I have to tell them about the pazzo shorties, the rear levers and the dark screen at the front?
I would ask the insurance company but I’m worried that will open up pandora’s box.
I’ve also asked this question in the classifieds section from where I bought the bike but thought I would get a quicker response here. Just want to get it sorted and start riding the bike:).
Thanks for the advice. My obvious worry is them finding out and voiding the policy.Probably end up not telling them and worrying about it come renewal time.
just been through the same situation , had new pazzys put on , bars , mirrors , grips , hugger , belly pan and rang to notify them. No changes to the policy price , just they wont replace like for like , will only be replaced with standard parts.
When I had the Pc3 and the quickshifter put on it was on the powercommander they had issues with because of the perfomance issues.
Cheers for that. It would be harsh of them to raise the price significantly if at all but appreciate Alex’s point that it may become more nickable. I keep changing my mind as to whether to tell them or not (I’m like that).
I’m with H&R insurance on a Highways policy if anyone has had experiance with them.
