going to be taking the foot pegs/hangers and levers off and have them anodized in black think it will look better ??? Havent seen any one else done that to theres yet
i have also removed all the saftey warning stickers ie dont drive while drunk!! and the unleaaded fuel only , just waiting for my lb stickers to turn up
& i have orderd the tail tidy and tinted screen, and red wheel rim tapethat is weird because I was thinking of doing the same thing. I like the stealth bike look (CBR 1000 '06 all black)

place in erith called star will do my hangers pegs and levers for 30 quid but could be upto 5dyas before they are ready im taking the parts up there tommorow, should last longer than powder coating:)

It’s all about quality of work.
Anodising may last longer than powder coating, or the other way round.
If either are run through as industial batches with a load of other stuff, they’re both going to be a crock in the long (one winter) run.
Anodising has historically been frowned upon with Japanese alloy not always being pure enough for the process to give a uniform finish.
That’s interesting, I had some brake disc bells anodised and they came out looking terrible, better than plain but only because they’e hidden once the wheels are on. Would explain the poor finish.
Why not just buy black levers, rearsets etc. Will look a shitload better. One of my buddys brought his k6 gixxer 750 into work the other day there, it’s black and he’s put black with red trim pazzo shortys (the red set off by the GSXR decal) black gillies rearsets, a black headlight cover and he just bought black wavey stealth discs but has yet to put them on. it looks awesome.

saw one that colour at lugunas where i got mine they fitted black screen and carbon exhaust looked loads better than std
Well I powder coated my rearsets, exhaust shield, subframe and rear pegs which the results looked good in my opinion.
powdercoating these bits are a old cheap mod loads of guys do this whilst there waiting to get after market bits but its very effective cheap mod to blacking out stupid silver bits
that looks very nice i was going to get anodized cause they said it lasted longer than powdercoating? but have ordered the giles rearsets and black screen and tail tidy,and pazzo levers and. and im sure the list is not done yet i think it looks just as cool as buying black bitz but ive spent the money now
