An uvver noobie

Hi All,

My name’s Keith. I’m a firefighter from Essex. I’ve been riding since just after they invented the wheel. I ride an old K100LT for fun and an R1200S for even more fun.

I’m very much into trying to improve my own riding. I like good quality track-days and lots and lots of practice. I’ve just read the post from Craig (hi Craig) and I’m impressed with how you guys encourage new sportsbike riders (if you are a new rider Craig) to learn to ride their machines properly. I rode for years with no training at all (literally!) so I am a late starter with this learning thing. Good track days are great when you get good instruction and you end the day a better rider than when you set out.

I live in Essex so I probably won’t be joining you on the BCR but I might see you when you get here.

Please try not to leave any litter in the hedgerows this time.

P.S. I hope that your rider with the broken collar-bone heals soon.

Hi Keith, and welcome to LB

Hope to see you at a trackday, or the Ace in the near future. Newbie night is getting closer - first Monday of the month.

Have fun!

Alex

Ooohh a fireman  Better tell Cheekychick :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello from Mr B! Welcome to our wonderful world:hehe:

Hi welcome to LB,

in ESSEX my self:D

Hi All, thanks for the nice welcome.

Apologies, I will be on nights on the 2nd Aug Newbie night.

I’m an Essex fireman so I’m not one of the muscle-bound posers that you are used to seeing in the city, sorry. My misses thinks that I’m a hunk though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Where in the flat stuff are you Blackbird?

hornchurch,you

I’m out on the really flat stuff, near Burnham-on-Crouch.

We have webbed feet out here.

Hello and welcome to LB:D
