RIP Albert buddy.

He was actually only 24, but ravaged by drugs!

For a true account & fascinating read, you need to read a very rare book called " The man who turned on the world" by Michael Hollingshead. He introduced Leary to the then unknown substance.

It cronicles his life just before & then after he spotted a very small add in a New York paper to order this unheard of substance - & then recalls his adventures as his life mophed into a mad adventure.

One great story I liked involved a restaurant where amongst the people present was Salvador Dali who happened to have a pet lizard, he left it as a tip for the waiter…or maybe he imagined it…or maybe I imagined that I read the book. :hehe:

We rode to Salvador Dali’s home town and visited an exhibition of pictures of him there - he was SEROUSLY mad
