ahhh...dropped my bike today!

trying to do the right thing earlier and offered to move my bike so a car could park in the bay…wasn’t concentrating properly when i put it back down and the side stand folded underneath the bike and over it went despit me hanging on in desperation…

smashed the screen with my arm trying to hold it up, front indicator hanging off…oh, and a big scratch on the fairing…

bugger!!!

off to try and patch it up in time for tomorrows rideout…

I’m hopeless at moving my bike from a stationary position.

Last time I took it, and I forgot to remove the disc lock. I was tipping over and trying to hold it up, and a passerby just walked past me wondering what I was doing before I dropped it from exhaustion.

All of 5 seconds trying to hold it up :hehe:

They all go down eventually (said the bishop to the actress)

Seriously - my solution is to buy used pre-dropped bikes with ready made cracks and scratches - that way - when i drop it it doesn’t feel like a big deal.

just been fettling…should be good for tomorrow…

when you got a shitter like mine i don’t worrie about that;)

Ouch sorry to hear this. I hope the car driver helped you pick it up again. Lost count of the number of times I’ve dropped my bikes over the years. Maybe I should invest in stabilisers.

He’ld be lucky! when I forgot to put my stand down at tescos in flitwick -( the bike landed on me and pinned me down) the driver behind actually drove round me to the pump in front! If i hadn’t found it funny - I’ld have punched him!lol.

Heavy, aren’t they!Last time I dropped mine a van driver and a courier helped me pick it up, bless 'em.

i dropped my Aprillia in a quiet residential street just before i sold it, DRiver actually had the cheek to Honk at me whilst i was laying under the thing trying to free my leg! Bless em !

Now that was soooooo funny :D:D:D

wish I had taken a picture now lmao
